2. What information we collect
We collect the personal information you give us directly — name, organisation, email, phone, postal address — when you fill out a contact form, register an account, place an order, or apply for a job. If you make a purchase we also collect billing/shipping details and payment information (handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers). We collect website analytics data only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
3. How we use it
To respond to enquiries, fulfil orders, send service notifications, deliver newsletters you have subscribed to, and improve our website. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
4. Sharing
We share information only with: payment processors (Stripe), email-delivery providers, shipping carriers when you place an order, our affiliated company Bioni Security & Electrical Pty Ltd if your enquiry concerns their services, and government bodies where legally required.
5. Storage and security
Data is hosted in Australia and the United States by reputable providers under encrypted-at-rest storage. We use HTTPS site-wide. Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it.
6. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Act
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, opt out of marketing communications, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we have mishandled your data.
